The story of Wally Frank is a sad story indeed. He wasn’t one of the more “dynamic” or “memorable” members of the Babylon Telecom team-family, but he did his job with quiet grace and dignity – which, come to think of it, was also the way he mysteriously disappeared.
It must have been a few months ago now that someone in middle management noticed that Wally hadn’t been showing up for work lately, which was very much unlike him as far as anyone was aware. We at Babylon Telecom launched a full-scale search, and finding nothing, we did the right thing and fired him.
Recently, while cleaning out Wally’s desk, one of our highly unpaid interns discovered a little, nondescript book of handwritten poetry laying in the bottom drawer. Here were the various snippets and moments of Wally’s remarkably unremarkable life, collected in one secret place.
Moving stuff, for real! We’re going to cram this thing through legal and see if we can’t monetize it. Wally would have wanted it that way, for all we know!
